An exercise for policy and decision makers which sees participants take charge of the security at a power plant over a four year period. As the exercise develops, participants are faced with difficult risk management decisions which shapes how the exercise reacts. The exercise imparts cyber security fundamentals, whilst promoting healthy discussion and is an ideal way to obtain organisational ‘buy-in’.
This exercise was originally developed by Lancaster University and Metropolitan Police Service and has been further developed by Cyber Griffin, specifically for businesses within the City.
This session teaches participants how the police manage incidents and how they make and record decisions. This can be applied to help your organisation review and discuss their current incident response model. This input teaches fundamental responder skills tailored to a cyber incident response.
